World’s Toughest Mudder 2024

Wowowowowow
What a venue, what a race – that sand…
Temperatures topping 30ish in the day and down to around 20 at night, just another obstacle that mudders had to deal with. For those that don’t know Worlds Toughest Mudder, it is the pinnacle of Tough Mudder racing – with participants having up to 25 and a half hours to complete as many 5 mile laps as they can.
The Men’s winner completed 115 miles, whilst the Women’s winner completed 95 miles within the time limit!
I managed 50 miles by the end of the race in which I was pretty happy with. The course profile was pretty flat and most detractors would say it was an “easy” course. But the big fly in the ointment was around 1 mile of sand running – slowing you down and taking a heavy toll on the legs. The only “negative” about the race (in my opinion) was that there wasnt really any “show case” obstacle like WTM has done in the past – think Stacks or The Cliff for example.
Footage was from the start and then all obstacles taken from my final lap at around 10am on Sunday morning. Well done to everyone completing and we hope to see you in the UK for Worlds Toughest Mudder 2025 (look out for some of my videos from Tough Mudder Midlands – the venue for WTM25)

Worlds Toughest Mudder final thoughts
My third visit to Worlds Toughest Mudder and it was definitely my favourite. I loved the course, the atmosphere and the race as a whole. It was great to be in Florida and enjoy Orlando after the race.
If you have never done a WTM – you really need to get it on your list!
Scores on the doors
Personaly, one of the most beautiful courses I have ran. Great for the trail runners who enjoy a good run out. Very little elevation - but that sand!!!
- Beautiful
- Trails without the elevation
- FAST! - Great gaunlet of obstacles at the end
- Beware of the aligators
