I tackled the 2026 Spartan South West Beast (21km) followed by the Sprint (6km) for an epic 27km obstacle course racing combo.
This was day two of the South West weekend, with Tough Mudder on the Saturday.
A huge congratulations to Alfie for completing his FIRST EVER Spartan Trifecta in a day, and a massive shoutout to Nafisa for clearing Ape Hanger for the very first time!

Trifecta in a day
- Flat and fast allowing those trifectas to be had
- Love the different obstacles the Spartan brings – not sure if I would want to do some of them 3 times though!
- Glad the route was mixed up a little compared to Tough Mudder and wasn’t a complete carbon copy
- Atmosphere lacking a little compared to Tough Mudder
