Tough Mudder London South is the “finale” of the Classic Tough Mudder season. There is just one Tough Mudder left, Tough Mudder Morden – but this is a City event – no mud no water and a choice of 5km or 10km.
London South is based near Crawley (so not really London South at all) at the Holmbush Estate. The terrain is a mix of forest trails and paths. Not hilly – undulating in parts, but generally a pretty fast course. The course, is also very specatator friendly. Based on a cloverleaf design – participants come back to a central point three times across the route, there are a number of the “big” obstacles within easy walking distance from the event village.
My favourite Tough Mudder course, relatively fast, not too technical or hilly, whilst being London, its one of the busiest with a fantastic atmosphere thoughout the day. Take a look at the video below – if you go next year, you need a photo at the helicopter!

Tough Mudder London South 2021 Recap
I love this course – definitely my favourite. Lots of character, very close to Crawley town centre (for after race socialising), great trails and not too much running between obstacles.
The smokiest Cry Baby, but the smallest King of the Mountain. Loving pitfall and EST in the event village for the lolz. A fantastic finale to the classic UK season.
