Born Survivor 2025 race recap

Born Survivor is a fantastic independent brand based in the North West, with two races – Spring in Cheshire and Autumn in Lancashire.

This is from the Cheshire venue (Capesthorne Hall, near Macclesfield) where I am pretty sure there was more mud this year than any other.

A “proper” old school obstacle course with a lot of water, mud and fun for all abilities. The main route is 10km with an alternative 6km route too. The “gauntlet” of final obstacles makes for a great spectacle for the spectators, who themselves, have lots to do in the village including a climbing wall for kids, live music and a beer tent for the adults.

Watch the video for the sheer amount of obstacles and mud on course. And if you have ever thought about doing an obstacle course for the first time, you cannot go wrong with signing up for Born Survivor.

Born Survivor final thoughts

This is such a fun course – so much for everyone and certainly a fun course for those taking on an obstacle course / mud run for the first time.

Lots of mud, fun obstacles and a choice between a 6kmn and 10km course. Great area for spectators with live music, lots of food vendors and ability to see many obstacles.
